FOOD AND DRINKS
FOOD
If you are serving/having food, please maintain proper hygiene and cleanliness
If you drop any food or drink, please make sure you clean it up right away.
You can use the utensils and dishes kept in the kitchen for serving/eating. Make sure you rinse the utensils and the dishes and put them in the dishwasher.

ALCOHOL
If you are serving alcohol at the event please refer to this document HERE and read it thoroughly + also visit AGCO's website to check for any new changes. You need to have an SOP (Special Occasion Permit) in order for you to serve alcohol. Please use this VIDEO to know how to apply. For any other questions/queries related to the same, please visit https://www.agco.ca/ and follow the instructions
You need to share the SOP with us at least 5 business days prior to the event.
Please serve the alcohol responsibly and make sure no one drives after drinking.
TRASH/GARBAGE
Please put the trash/garbage in the trash cans placed at the designated areas:
Conference room - Trash can located inside the room
Meeting room - Trash can located inside the room
Lounge Area - Trash cans located in the lounge area and also in the kitchen under the island
If there is any extra trash left, please put it into the garbage bags (placed under the garbage bags within the trash cans/bins) and keep them outside the space/premises by the elevator
SECURITY PERSONNEL
We advise you to bring security personnel for any event that has more than 30 people and/or when the alcohol is being served at the premises.
If you want us to arrange for security personnel, we can help you with hiring one (extra charges)
STARTUPTIVE ACCESS
The space is available 24/7 but the building times are 7 AM to 7 PM, Mon-Fri and 7 AM to 1 PM on Saturdays. For other times, you need an access pass provided by the building management. You need these access passes for the elevators to work + to enter the building. You need to tap your passcard on the device installed in the elevator+outside.
We provide one access card so you can use the same to enter. Please note that it is the customer's responsibility to get the access card from us during regular office hours (Mon - Fri). In case of loss of this access card, there will be a charge of $100. While leaving the premises, you can leave the access card on the Kitchen island/counter.
Use the code 6314/2318 to enter the premises on the 2nd floor.
CAR/BIKE PARKING
For day parking there are a few parking spaces nearby and they cost $25-30 per day.
Bike parking is available for free. There is a spot just outside the building. Startuptive won't be held liable if the bike gets stolen/damaged.
AIR CONDITIONING/HEATING
Please note that the air conditioning/heating is available from:
Monday - Friday: 7 AM to 7 PM
Saturday: 7 AM to 1 PM
Sunday: Not available
Additional heaters available upon request.
CLEANLINESS
Please treat the space with respect and maintain proper hygiene and cleanliness
If you are using cups, dishes, or cutlery, please make sure you rinse and place them in the dishwasher.
There are trash cans placed in every room, in the lounge, and in the kitchen. Please use them to throw away any trash
There are two trash bins in the kitchen, one for regular trash and one for recycling inside the island large drawer next to the microwave, please make proper use of them for disposal.
Please note that there will be a $300 refundable deposit for the cleaning. The amount will not be refunded if the space is not cleaned well after the event. This includes clean floors, no stains/marks anywhere, clean countertops, washed dishes placed in their designated area/dishwasher, no stains on furniture, right furniture placement, mop/broom in the designated area, water drained from the mop bucket (you can use washrooms for that), clean washrooms, garbage bags tightly closed (with no leakage) and placed outside the premises by the elevator (should look clean), plants/decor in the designated place, and anything else that makes the space look dirty/unorganized.

People asked to stop any harassing behavior are expected to comply immediately. Any behavior or action experienced as harassment will be responded to as such.
